Levante – Actividades Marítimo-Turisticas, Lda. is a company specialized in marine and eco - touristic activities, authorized by the permit nº52/2002 of the Direcção Geral de Turismo, registered in the Capitania do Porto de Faro since 08-05-95 with the licence number 10/CPF for maritime and touristic purposes and authorized for environmental animation activities in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, under the license number 42 PNRF 3/2006. Created with the intent to promote and innovate in the area of water sports and leisure activities, we present a guaranty of quality and professionalism in all our services, according to the demanding individual, familiar and corporate market of Quinta do Lago Resort.
With more than 10 years experience in organizing a wide range of events at a sportive and environmental level, Levante disposes of a vast amount of water activities, as well as educational programs, playing an important role in the promotion of national and regional tourism. At the Quinta do Lago lake, Levante has a water sports centre that favours non-motorised activities, like sailing, windsurf, canoeing, pedalos and fishing equipment rental.
At Quinta do Lago beach, Levante owns a 1500 square meter area concession, intended for motor sports activities, like water bikes, water skiing, parasailing, bananas and ringos, as well as a shade area, sunloungers and a lifeguard post. Levante is responsible for the neatness, vigilance and management of all the authorized areas and other adjacent spaces.
The company also organizes programs for families and groups, namely:
• Combined activities in the Lake;
• Combined activities on the beach;
• Boat trips;
• Jeep tours;
• Ecological (mountain bike, canoe, (and nature walks).
Benefiting of the proximity of the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, this several programs allow our clients to enjoy the natural beauties of the park, and to learn about the local fauna, flora and its ecologic importance.
Regardless of the seasonal tendency of the Algarve´s tourism, Levante promotes and organizes many events and activities in partnership with several travel agencies toward corporations that seek the Algarve for its congresses and incentive trips.
